MOTHER'S DAY

Sunny and hot with light afternoon winds today. Expect Reno to reach 90° and Montreux 88°. Reno could see a new record high temperature today, the old record is 88° set in 1934. Look for another beautiful day with plenty of sunshine and light afternoon winds. Temperatures will be well above seasonal averages which is 73° in Reno. Monday and Tuesday will see a few clouds and more record breaking heat, in the 90's. Cooler on Wednesday and Thursday as a Low nears the Oregon Coast bringing increased afternoon winds and a chance for thunderstorms. Back in the 80's Friday and next weekend.
