Partly sunny, afternoon thunderstorms and warm with light winds today. Expect Reno to reach 80° and Montreux 78°. Cooler with lots of clouds and a good chance for afternoon showers and thunderstorms. Look for partly sunny skies and light winds except around any thunderstorms where outflow winds could gust to 45 mph. Morning and evening haze from local fires continue this week. Thunderstorm chances today are about 60% as the Trough moves through and draws moisture into the area. High temperatures will be well below the seasonal average of 93° today. Thunderstorm chances are less Friday, but still about a 25% possibility. Partly cloudy with temperatures a couple of degrees warmer than today. Dry Saturday and into the weekend with temperatures in Reno in the 80's with sunny skies.
