Sunny and hot with gusty afternoon winds today. Expect Reno to reach 99° and Montreux 95°. Today will be the hottest day of the weekend. Look for sunny skies, afternoon Zephyr winds and dry conditions as High pressure anchors over the Four Corners region. Temperatures will be well above the seasonal average of 94° in Reno. Expect afternoon Zephyr winds in the 10 to 20 mph range and some clouds this evening. Sunday will be mostly cloudy, several degrees cooler with mostly light southerly winds as Monsoonal moisture works its way north from Baja. A chance for an afternoon thunderstorm Sunday, with a better chance for thunderstorms and wetting rains Monday and Tuesday.
