Sunny and hot with light afternoon winds today. Expect Reno to reach 95° and Montreux 92°. Temperatures continue to rise into mid week as High pressure continues. Look for sunny skies, dry conditions and light afternoon winds today. Temperature will be well above the seasonal average of 85° in Reno. Tuesday and Wednesday will see the temperature rise to near the century mark in Reno with afternoon Zephyr winds up to 25 mph returning. A slight chance for an afternoon thunderstorm mainly south of Hwy 50 through Wednesday. Thursday and Friday will see temperatures cool some with increasing chances for afternoon thunderstorms. Winds will also increase raising fire danger. Back in the 80's in Reno for the weekend under mostly sunny skies.
