Partly sunny and warm with light winds today. Expect Reno to reach 87° and Montreux 83°. A few showers this morning, then some sun and afternoon and evening thunderstorms as Monsoonal moisture impacts our region for the next week or so. Thunderstorms may produce lightening, strong outflow winds and heavy rain or hail. Temperatures will be below the seasonal average of 94° in Reno. Tuesday will see morning showers, then partly sunny skies with light winds except around thunderstorms. A good chance for thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening. Back in the 90's in Reno Wednesday through Friday with a less chance for thunderstorms and a return of afternoon Zephyr winds. Chance for thunderstorms likely to return next weekend.
