Sunny and hot with typical afternoon winds today. Expect Reno to reach 96° and Montreux 93°. Hot today with afternoon Zephyr winds and a few cumulus clouds over the Sierra. Look for sunny skies, dry with afternoon Zephyr winds in the 10 to 15 mph range today. Temperature will be above the seasonal average of 88° in Reno. Wednesday will look a lot like today, but a couple of degrees cooler. Temperatures will remain in the 90's through Thursday when afternoon winds will increase as a weak Trough moves through the area. Friday will be cooler and windy as a stronger Trough moves into the Pacific Northwest. Saturday temperatures will be in the high 70's to low 80's in Reno with sunny skies and gusty winds. Cool Sunday with sunny skies and light winds.
