Mostly sunny and cool with strong winds today. Expect Reno to reach 73° and Montreux 70°. Cool weather and strong winds continue as a Cold Front moves through the area today. Winds remain steady at 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 30 mph. Temperature will be well below the seasonal average of 90° in Reno. A RED FLAG WARNING for critical fire danger has been posted for today until 11 PM tonight with strong winds, gusts to 45 mph, and low humidity in wind prone areas. Slight chance for a shower overnight into Sunday morning. Very cool, likely in the 60's in Reno Sunday with sunny skies and lighter winds. Monday and most of next week we will see sunny skies, dry with light winds and temperatures below seasonal averages. Batten down the hatches this windy Saturday !!
