Sunny and cool with northeast winds today. Expect Reno to reach 63° and Montreux 60°. After a blustery and cold Sunday, the sun returns this cold May morning. A slow warm up begins today under sunny skies, but it will remain cool as a northeast flow will produce winds gusting to 20 mph. The Trough that produced the snow flurries yesterday is now over Utah and Colorado and slowly moving east. Warmer Tuesday, near the seasonal average of 75° with light winds. Wednesday will be near 80° in Reno as a the warm up continues into the weekend. Look for typical afternoon winds each day. For those making plans for the Memorial Day weekend it is looking like very nice weather for being outdoors.
