Mostly sunny and hot with afternoon winds today. Expect Reno to reach 95° and Montreux 91°. Dry conditions continue today with mostly sunny skies and afternoon Zephyr winds. Temperatures will be at the seasonal average of 95° in Reno. Look for some cumulus clouds building up this afternoon, mainly over the Sierra. Friday will look much like today with seasonal temperatures and afternoon Zephyr winds in the 10 to 15 mph range. Saturday winds will be lighter, with plenty of sunshine. Sunday will see a chance for thunderstorms as Monsoon moisture moves into the area. Temperatures will remain seasonal with light wind in the afternoon except around any thunderstorms. Monsoon moisture will be in our forecast early next week with a chance for thunderstorms.
