Partly cloudy, dry and very warm with afternoon Zephyr winds today. Expect Reno to reach 92° and Montreux 86°. More high clouds today but otherwise a pretty typical August day. Look for a cloud and sunshine mix with afternoon winds in the 10 to 15 mph range gusting to 25 mph. Temperatures will be just above the seasonal average of 90°. Today through Thursday will see partly to mostly sunny skies, above seasonal temperatures and stronger than normal Zephyr winds in the 10 to 25 mph range. Friday much cooler temperatures, less wind and a chance for showers and afternoon thunderstorms. Mostly sunny and cooler over the weekend with highs in Reno in the 80's.
