Mostly cloudy and warm with afternoon winds today. Expect Reno to reach 84° and Montreux 80°. Morning clouds will give way to mostly sunny skies this afternoon. Look for clearing skies, well above seasonal temperatures, the average is currently 73°, and afternoon winds gusting to 25 mph. Seasonal and windy under sunny skies Saturday as a Cold Front approaches. Winds could gust to 45 mph in the afternoon. Much cooler Sunday and Monday with showers as the remnant of hurricane Rachel gets entrained into the Cold Front. Likely 6" of snow in the Sierra above 7500 ft. and up to .50" of rain below. Sunday and Monday we will see cold temperatures with Reno in the high 50's and low 60's. Tuesday skies should become sunny with light winds and temperatures in the low 60's. Seasonal temperatures will return mid-week with sunny skies.
