Sunny and seasonal with light winds today. Expect Reno to reach 92° and Montreux 88°. Sunny skies return along with more heat as we begin the first full week of July. Look for sunny skies, light winds and a slight chance for thunderstorms mainly north of our area. Temperatures will be near the seasonal average of 93° in Reno. Tuesday and Wednesday will look a lot like today with a return of afternoon Zephyr winds in the 10 to 20 mph range. Thursday into the weekend temperatures will increase, possibly into triple digits as High pressure builds into the area. Dry conditions will prevail, but there is always a chance for a stray thunderstorm with afternoon heating.
