Morning sunshine will give way to afternoon showers and thunderstorms as Monsoonal moisture continues to impact our region today. Thunderstorms may produce lightening, strong outflow winds and heavy rain or hail. Temperatures will be below the seasonal average of 95° in Reno. Back in the 90's in Reno Wednesday into the weekend with thunderstorms moving south and east of Reno and Carson City. Expect sunny skies and a return to afternoon Zephyr winds. Sunny and seasonal for the weekend with a chance for thunderstorms to return late in the weekend or early next week.
