Sunny and hot with afternoon Zephyr winds today. Expect Reno to reach 96° and Montreux 92°. A couple of degrees cooler again today gives us a brief break from tripe digit heat. Look for sunny skies, very dry conditions with afternoon Zephyr winds in the 5 to 10 mph range gusting to 15 mph today. Tuesday through next weekend we will be solidly in the 100's in Reno with sunny skies, dry conditions and afternoon Zephyr winds. Friday looks to be the hottest day this week. Although we haven't had much haze from nearby fires, we could see some in Valley locations in the early morning hours and late nights this week.
