Sunny and hot with afternoon winds today. Expect Reno to reach 100° and Montreux 94°. The heat is on as temperatures rise to well above the seasonal average of 95° in Reno today. Look for sunny skies, dry conditions and afternoon winds in the 15 to 20 mph range gusting to 35 mph. A RED FLAG WARNING for high fire danger has been posted from this afternoon through Saturday at 9 PM. Saturday will see sunny skies, dry conditions and a couple of degrees cooler temperatures with continued strong afternoon winds. Sunny, hot and dry continue Sunday and into next week with typical afternoon Zephyr winds. Have a wonderful weekend !!
