Mostly sunny and warm with typical afternoon winds today. Expect Reno to reach 87° and Montreux 84°. Warmer temperatures today as we approch the Independence Day holiday weekend. Look for warm temperatures, typical afternoon Zephyr winds in the 10 to 15 mph range, and a few cumulus clouds over the Sierra today. Temperature will be below the seasonal average of 91° in Reno. Friday temperatures in Reno will near the seasonal average with typical afternoon Zephyr winds and mostly sunny skies. The Fourth of July weekend will see a Ridge build bringing sunny skies, afternoon breezes and temperatures rising into the mid 90's in Reno as we celebrate the 250th anniversary of the USA.
