Mostly cloudy and warm with light winds today. Expect Reno to reach 88° and Montreux 84°. A shower overnight as plentiful cloud cover this morning will give way to some sunshine mid morning. Temperatures will be below the seasonal average of 95° in Reno. Increasing clouds and thunderstorms this afternoon and evening with areas of heavy rain in the Truckee Meadows. Strong outflow winds near thunderstorms are likely. Monsoon moisture will be in our forecast through Wednesday, although chances for thunderstorms are only about 15%. Sunny, dry and increasing temperatures Thursday and into next weekend as Ridging builds back into the area. Zephyr winds will return each afternoon.
