Sunny and hot with typical afternoon winds today. Expect Reno to reach 91° and Montreux 88°. A few degrees cooler today with afternoon Zephyr winds and a few cumulus clouds over the Sierra. Look for sunny skies, dry with afternoon Zephyr winds in the 10 to 15 mph range today. Temperature will be just above the seasonal average of 88° in Reno. Temperatures will remain in the 90's through Thursday when afternoon winds will increase with gusts around 20 mph. Friday will be cooler, partly cloudy and windy as a Trough moves into the Pacific Northwest. Increased fire danger Friday and Saturday with strong winds and low humidity. Saturday temperatures will be much cooler, in the high 70's in Reno with sunny skies and strong winds. Very cool Sunday with sunny skies and lighter winds. Seasonal temperatures return next week.
