Mostly sunny, dry and seasonal with strong afternoon winds today. Expect Reno to reach 91° and Montreux 86°. Morning clouds will give way to a sunny day with increasing afternoon winds. Look for mostly sunny skies early with afternoon winds in the 15 to 20 mph range gusting to 35 mph and temperatures at the seasonal average of 91°. A slight chance for isolated thunderstorms as Monsoon moisture from the south and a Trough in the Pacific Northwest impact our area. A RED FLAG WARNING has been posted for our area today from 11AM until 11PM for high fire danger due to high winds. Thunderstorms will be mainly south and east of the Truckee Meadows this weekend. Sunday and early next week will see sunny skies, seasonal temperatures and typical afternoon Zephyr winds in the 10 to 20 mph range. Have a great weekend !!
