Mostly sunny and hot with afternoon Zephyr winds today. Expect Reno to reach 101° and Montreux 96°. The heat continues today and Monday, then more seasonal temperatures mid week. Look for mostly sunny skies, a slight chance for an afternoon thunderstorm and typical afternoon winds except around thunderstorms where outflow gust can reach 40+ mph. Best chance for thunderstorms today will be south of Hwy 50 and east of the Truckee Meadows. Temperatures will remain in the 100's in Reno and Valley locations through Monday with sunny skies, mostly dry conditions, morning and evening haze from local fires and increasing afternoon Zephyr winds. Thunderstorm chances increase Wednesday as a Trough begins to draw more moisture into the area. Stay hydrated and seek shelter around any thunderstorms. Have a great weekend!!
