Sunny and warm with light winds today. Expect Reno to reach 82° and Montreux 80°. The heat is on as record setting temperatures begin today. Look for sunny skies, calm winds and dry conditions today. Temperatures will rise into the low to mid 80's in Reno as a very strong High pressure ridge moves into the West Coast. Skies will be mostly sunny with very dry conditions and light winds during the week. Next weekend temperatures will begin to slowly cool, but will still be way above seasonal averages. River flows will increase with these temperatures, the water will be very cold from snow melt so be cautious.
