Partly cloudy and mild with strong afternoon winds today. Expect Reno to reach 72° and Montreux 68°. More sunshine but also strong winds again today as a Cold Front off the Washington Coast is generating strong winds. Look for partly cloudy skies, mild temperatures and winds in the 10 to 20 mph range gusting to 35 mph today. Temperatures will be well below the seasonal average of 88°. Tonight we will see a chance for an evening shower and increasing clouds mainly over the Sierra and around Lake Tahoe. Friday will be cloudy with morning showers and more typical Zephyr winds in the afternoon. Temperatures will be cooler than today. Sunny Saturday and over the holiday weekend with typical afternoon Zephyr winds. Temperatures in Reno will remain in the 70's.
